Happy one month anniversary to the Withams - my gift to you: this blog post :) I do not even know where to start with describing these two hilarious and wonderful people or their gorgeous wedding day, but I will try!
Marissa & Justin were married at a private residence out in Creswell. Marissa got ready at the Comfort Suites in Creswell which, lo and behold, had amazing lighting opportunities for me! I was loving everything I saw on the back of my camera and then, enter the world's most awesome bridesmaid troop! These girls were rockstars, they listened and followed all of my somewhat ridiculous commands to a T! It became obvious early on that memorable photos of the day were an important factor for everyone!
When I arrived on-site, I was immediately greeted by wedding coordinating extraordinaire, the Green-Eyed Girl (my sister, Kandice for those of you regular players here). She handed my assistant (my brother Nick) and I bottled water and quickly gave us the layout as well as key locations she'd scoped out for nice, shaded pictures (pays to have an insider!)
The first look took place under a beautiful tree in which J & M had been carved to commemorate the occasion. The carving was the first of many beautiful, little details Marissa & Justin had incorporated throughout their day, including a mason jar chandelier to accent their ceremony! Justin and Marissa, throughout the entire wedding, were so clearly in love...Justin always looking at his beautiful bride and both of them enjoying the day with their obvious sense of humor shining through. These two are also the most camera-aware bride and groom I've ever met! No matter what was happening, they knew where I was and made sure I got my shot. At one point on the dance floor, Justin spun Marissa right as someone walked in front of me...He made eye contact with me and mouthed, "One more spin?" I nodded...Success!
The Withams had me there the entire day, so needless to say, thousands of photos were taken (in fact, a record-breaking day for me...I literally only had 10 or so photos to spare on ALL of the memory cards I'd taken!) It was difficult for me to narrow down which ones to share, so I sort of didn't :) Heehee. Justin & Marissa, thank you for letting me be a part of your perfect wedding day.
