Sarah, Anthony and I met for the first time last fall. They shared with me their vision for their wedding day and Sarah described the crisp, classic colors and theme that would be present throughout the day. Lewis and Clark was a perfect venue for the navy and white; timeless in its own right.
When I arrived on the day of the wedding, everything was going perfectly. The talented Kendra Johnson was already working her make-up magic on the beautiful bride and the gorgeous bridal suite was glowing with beautiful lighting. Sarah's dress, shoes, jewelry, bouquet and other details were some of the most stunning that I have worked with and I loved being able to utilize the grounds to stage some shots with them.
When it was time for the first look, I had Anthony and Sarah see each other for the first time on the bike path overlooking the river. We had the wonderful ambiance of a concert at Cuthbert Amphitheater (no joke, Turn Down for What was thumping) and we had to time our poses between passing paddle boarders on the Willamette. But Sarah and Anthony barely even noticed; looking at Anthony, it was so obvious he was so excited to marry Sarah - the woman of his dreams.
Throughout the day, Sarah and Anthony's warm love for each other was visible in every photo. They took care to pay attention to each other and I saw them exchanging glances all day, even when talking with their guests. It was so sweet how happy they both were to be husband and wife.
Sarah and Anthony, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day! As usual, my ability to narrow down a few favorites was lacking, but enjoy :)
