I met with Megan and Alex via Skype months prior to their wedding. They secured the coveted 9/9 slot in my 2017 wedding season and were officially my first ever Bend, Oregon wedding! I was so excited for the opportunity to get to shoot in a new location at a beautiful resort venue!
I loved Megan and Alex's vision for the day. The couple has an understated elegance about them and that chic simplicity carried over into every aspect of their wedding day. When I arrived at the gorgeous Broken Top Club, it was clear that the situation for weddings was perfect. An indoor ceremony venue, a back patio for reception and beautifully manicured grounds for everything in between.
We were greeted by Ashley of Actually Ashley Events and she gave us a rundown of the schedule and what was coming up. This woman had it together! She kept the entire day running smoothly and on-time! She even reminded me of my own schedule when I lost track to make sure we got everything in that we needed to! Her efforts made the entire day go off without a hitch and with precision timing!
The couple and their families (and their amazing wedding party) were hilariously awesome to spend the day with. I seriously couldn't stop laughing at Alex's sense of humor and of course, loved every second of his sentimentality throughout the day. He gave me the "first look" reaction every photographer dreams of! Megan was so sweet and classy; her wedding dress was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen! On top of all of that, Alex and Megan were gracious and incredible hosts for all of their friends and family that were a part of their special day. Thank you to both of them for having me there to capture your memories! Here are a few of my favorites!
