Another month gone by and another Happy One Month anniversary to two amazing and hilarious humans. Ashley and Dane got married one month ago today at the gorgeous Mount Pisgah Arboretum (you'll be seeing a lot of that venue on my blog this year (and next year, for that matter!) in a beautifully classic and timeless wedding day.
I met Ashley and Dane last year when we met on some family property for their woodsy winter engagement session. My first thought about Ashley was - holy $h*t this girl is gorgeous! Look at that face! Then, after my girl crush simmered down a bit, I discovered that she is also hilarious, confident, and willing to have fun at her photo shoots...this was a perfect fit with her handsome, sweet and sentimental groom who I discovered was willing to just about anything Ashley wanted him to ;)
Fast forward to their wedding day and fun was the name of the game. From the getting-ready pillow fights, to the hand-written notes the bride and groom were passing back and forth before the ceremony (they held off on a first look and Dane saw his beautiful bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle), and then to the cake SMASH of a cake-cutting, these two are clearly a playful and fun match made in heaven. The reception also was a buffet of epic dance moves from the bridal party (award-winning group, I might add) and some sweet and sentimental dances on the dance floor that had the whole crowd wiping their eyes.
Ashley and Dane - thank you so much for the privilege of being a part of your wedding day. You two are so much freakin' fun, I could relive your party over and over again!
